Newcastle College is the largest
Further and Higher Education College in the UK,
with a total of over 44,000 students, 6,000 full-time.

Newcastle College is investing
millions of pounds creating a wonderful study
environment. In November 2004, the college opened
its £21 million Music and Performing Arts Centre
- the biggest and most modern in the FE sector
in the UKNewcastle’s brand new HE centre 'Space'
provides a fantastic social venue for their HE

inspection No.1 college in the UK
According to the government OFSTED report (April
2004) Newcastle College is the best performing
general FE/HE college in the UK, achieving 'outstanding'
grades in most departments, including Art and
Design and English Language (EFL).

Value for money
and quality courses
The prices are very competitive and the quality
of teaching and resources are very high. The college
has links with both universities in Newcastle
- Northumbria University and University of Newcastle
and the University of Sunderland. Many of our
students successfully go on to degree courses
at each of these prestigious universities.

Campus life and
study facilities
Newcastle College has three campuses, three libraries
with 125,000 books and 500 study seats with magazines,
newspapers, CD-Roms, photocopiers and internet.
Other resources include language laboratory for
your language skills, Information Technology workshop,
seminar rooms, comfortable modern classrooms,
lecture theatres, concert and music hall and sports
centre. There are also several coffee bars and
cafeterias for your lunch.
